Our crews have experience using land and barge-based unloaders and barge self-unloaders. We have operated Pneumatic and Mechanical Unloading systems, including FLSmidth, Van Aalst and Siwertell systems with Types 1,2 & 3 Cement, Portland Cement, Grancem, Flyash, and other bulk products. We can operate the arm in discharge operations, monitor the PLC to ensure efficient offloading of cargo and properly load and unload ships and barges – helping to reduce demurrage, fixed labor and per ton costs. In addition to operating the equipment, our crews are skilled in monitoring, maintaining, and repairing commonly used equipment from a variety of manufacturers. From Aerzen vacuums and compressors to diesel engine generators, pumps and blowers, our crews can keep your equipment operating. We can even replace and rebuild pinch valves. Beyond routine operations, our crews are ready to assist with anything that may arise at a terminal during a discharge including emergency repairs or regular terminal operations beyond the unloader.
