CRH Group entered the Ukrainian market in 1999 by acquiring the major shareholding in JSC Podilsky Cement (Khmelnytsky region). In 2011, the company purchased the controlling interest in Cement LLC (Odesa), and in 2013 it did the same with PrJSC Mykolaivcement (Mykolaiv, Lviv region). Since 2016, the products of all cement plants of the Group in Ukraine have been supplied to the market under one CRH brand. Today CRH is one of the leaders in the Ukrainian cement market in terms of production volumes. Apart from cement plants, CRH Ukraine is represented by the Odesa concrete plant operating under the name of Polibeton Group and PrJSC Bilotserkivsky Plant of Reinforced Concrete Structures, the latter specializing in reinforced concrete poles for power transmission lines.
