Celtic Crossroads Information

Celtic Crossroads, which is owned by EMK Productions Ltd. (Eamon Crosby, Michael McClintock and Kevin Crosby) is an international touring production, which performs mainly in mid-size performing arts centers. Celtic Crossroads started by performing street shows in the summer of 2005 in Galway city, Ireland. Over the course of the first summer, they brought the streets of their homeland to a standstill. After seeing the success of the street show, they decided to start an indoor theatrical version of the show and to their amazement, the show began to sell out six nights per week due to word of mouth. Cetic Crossroads then developed into a high production show and began touring internationally in 2007. In 2010, the Celtic Crossroads World Fusion Tour launched in North America backed with a PBS Special. Media often refer to Celtic Crossroads as doing to Irish music what Riverdance has done to Irish dance. The creators of the show are not trying to be like any other established show. The World Fusion Tour incorporates seven musicians (playing over 20 instruments) and two dancers on stage. The high energy production includes Celtic music as the backbone to the show, but also world flavours such as Bluegrass, Gypsy & Jazz.
