Cellvation B.V. Information

Cellvation® is a joint venture of the companies Recell Group B.V. and CirTec BV, which produces a new raw material from used toilet paper in a cost-effective way. Here a completely new developed technology is applied. In 2016, part of a bicycle path in Friesland was successfully constructed using cellulose fibers recovered from toilet paper, demonstrating the value of the technology. As a result of the good test results in Leek (NL), the technology is further scaled up in 2017 in Geestmerambacht with the SMART-Plant. The Aquatech jury took notion of the sustainable raw material extraction from sewage water and rewarded us with the Overall Aquatech Innovation Award 2017! The companies CirTec BV and Recell Group B.V. are active in the water sector and in the circular commodities market. As agile, complementary entrepreneurs, they bring Cellvation® to the market together, both nationally and internationally. The cooperation between CirTec and Recell Group is supported by the Water Alliance, creating a unique partnership between government, knowledge institutions and the business community, with the emphasis on the innovative and sustainable water technology that can be marketed worldwide. Thanks to the broad network of the parties, business opportunities are materialized and developments are accelerated.
