Old Glory Distilling Company Clarksville, TN Were a small batch artisan distillery in a part of America that doesnt worship novelty, or look favorably upon flashes in the pan. How do we know? We grew up here in Clarksville, Tennessee, and our give a damn runs pretty high. For us, its all about hand crafting spirits the right way. In the case of our whiskey, that means using grains grown by the farmers we run into at the barbershop and never taking shortcuts. For this reason, our prized Tennessee Whiskey and Bourbon are a few years from release. The oak barrels only ask for time to work their magic, and as a self-respecting Tennessee Whiskey distiller, were not about to mess with what works. To help tide you over, were crafting a limited quantity of our small batch Tennessee Whiskey in half size barrels. Why the smaller barrel? Smaller Barrels = Less Time to Mature. This whiskey is a spry spirit; big on character thatll give you a small taste of the primo Whiskey to come. If Whiskey doesnt strike your fancy, well be sure to convert you, but in the meantime weve developed a Vodka thats sure to please. We start with a neutral base, but of course, us being proud Tennesseans stock just doesnt cut it. In true Old Glory fashion, we send them through our copper pot still and carefully filter it through the same sugar maple charcoal used for our Tennessee Whiskey. The result? Well, lets just say martinis and gimlets will never be the same. Now these spirits are just the tip of the iceberg. We wouldnt be an Artisan distillery without expanding the horizons of spirits as we know them. Craft Breweries did for beer what Artisan Distilleries are doing for spirits. Ace Spirits (also known as Whiskey Heaven) the first of it's kind in the sate of Minnesota- a small shop jam packed with every whiskey available in the state of Minnesota! Bourbon, Rye Whiskey, Single Malt Scotch, Irish Whisky- the lot of 'em. All sitting on our shelves and our online store waiting for a good home. We opened our doors in March of 2013 in a tiny space in Hopkins, Minnesota. We paid special mind to controlling light so that our beer stays fresh- special UV film coats all windows and all but three bulbs in the store are limited spectrum LEDs. Those three bulbs are over they register and they just looked so dang cool, we couldn't resist. Thanks for looking us up, we look forward to welcoming you into the shop.
