CellMosaic® is a Massachusetts-based bioconjugation technology company founded in 2008 by Dr. Yumei Huang. We develop innovative, high-quality bioconjugation solutions for research, diagnostic, and therapeutic applications. Our capabilities are built on more than 400 proprietary Advanced Conjugation Processes supported by validated manufacturing protocols and quality-control systems. As of February 2026, CellMosaic had completed more than 700 custom projects, produced more than 500 unique conjugates, and supplied products to more than 450 organizations across over 33 countries. At the heart of our technology portfolio is AqueaTether® (AqT®), a proprietary platform that uses sugar alcohol-based linkers to improve the labeling and conjugation of hydrophobic compounds. AqT® Technologies support the development of next-generation kits, reagents, and therapeutics, including antibody–drug conjugates (ADCs). Our other proprietary platforms include oxLink™ and sxLink™ technologies for studying protein–protein interactions and NeIon™ Technologies for detecting trace analytes by mass spectrometry. This technology development has been supported in part by a U.S. Department of Defense Breast Cancer Research Program Breakthrough Award and NIH SBIR funding. CellMosaic serves customers through four complementary business areas: Reagents and Kits, offering premade bioconjugates, modified molecules, reagents, and kits for in-house conjugation; R&D Bioconjugation Services, providing both customized solutions and standardized services through our Routine Synthesis™ platform; CDMO Services, supporting process development, scale-up, and GLP/GMP manufacturing of therapeutic and diagnostic bioconjugates using established linker technologies; and AqT® ADC Development and Manufacturing, focused on next-generation ADCs based on our proprietary AqT® linkers. Together, these capabilities provide an integrated path from early discovery through development, manufacturing, and commercialization.
