Cell Surface Bio is the antibody-discovery division of Integral Molecular, building on 25 years of expertise in membrane protein engineering to discover recombinant monoclonal antibodies against difficult targets often labeled undruggable: GPCRs, ion channels, and transporters. These proteins have long resisted conventional antibody discovery, because once extracted from the membrane they misfold and lose the native surface an antibody must recognize. Our VeRSa-Select platform solves this by starting with the immunogen. mRNA/VLP immunization presents each target in its native, membrane-embedded conformation, while avian (chicken) hosts reach conserved epitopes that mammalian systems miss. Long CDR-H3s access recessed and cryptic epitopes: binding pockets, channels, and conformational states that conventional binders do not.
