USFQ, LA COMUNIDAD ACADÉMICA MÁS ACTIVA DEL ECUADOR. 26 AÑOS REVOLUCIONANDO LA EDUCACIÓN EN ECUADOR. La USFQ se dedica principalmente a formar, educar, investigar y servir a la comunidad dentro de la filosofía de las Artes Liberales integrando a todos los sectores de la sociedad. Más de 5500 estudiantes son hoy en día el eje vital de la Universidad San Francisco de Quito USFQ, con personas de todas las regiones y nacionalidades del país, junto a más de 1000 estudiantes internacionales de intercambio. La USFQ es una activa comunidad académica que busca formar líderes! Somos una institución educativa Ecuatoriana de Artes Liberales, privada y sin-fines-de-lucro. La USFQ ofrece anualmente más de 4000 cursos académicos por año y más de 50 carreras en el sistema de Artes Liberales, formando generalistas-especializados. Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas - ESPE is an institution of higher education, legal, administrative autonomy and its own assets, public law, residing in the city of Quito and headquarters in the city of Sangolquí, is governed by the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador, the Higher Education Act, the Constitutive Act Decree No. 487 of December 20, 1977, related laws, the statute, internal regulations issued in accordance with law and regulations issued by bodies management and authorities. Army Polytechnic School is accredited by the National System of Higher Education.

The mission of Escuela Politécnica Nacional (EPN or National Polytechnic School) is to cultivate conscientious, solidary, and critical academics and professionals in engineering and the sciences who contribute to social wellbeing. Interacting dynamically with other actors in Ecuador and the international community, EPN strives to generate and spread scientific and technological knowledge in a socially responsible way. EPN has a student body of nearly 10,000 studying across eight faculties: Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Exact Sciences (Mathematics, Physics), Systems Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Geology and Petroleum, Chemical Engineering and Agro-Industry, and Administrative Sciences. There is also a School of Technical Studies, a Social Sciences Department, and a very active and large Continuing Education Centre. All Ecuadorian universities are required by law to undergo a rigorous evaluation process that assesses their quality. On July 29th, 2010, the national accreditation board ranked 68 universities into four categories (from A to D). EPN was placed at the very top of the list of the country´s eleven best “Category A” universities. As of the most recent evaluation in 2013, only three universities remain in this prestigious category and the EPN continues to be acknowledged as a leader amongst them.
