Cedar Summit Farm Information

Cedar Summit Farm is Minnesota's only 100% grass-fed creamery, located in New Prague. For more than four decades, our certified-organic family farm has been dedicated to preserving the health, environment, and economy of our local community. The water in our backyard creek leaves cleaner than when it came in. That's because we raise grazing cows on healthy, hearty pastures, which contributes to cleaner water for our neighbors downstream. Even in winter months, our happy herd roams freely and chews on preserved grass grown on our 185 acres. Compared to typical "grass-fed" farms, which feed cows a mixture of grass and grain, our 100% grass-fed milk, cream, and yogurts have a healthier balance of Omega-6 to Omega-3, and higher levels of CLA, "good fats" shown to greatly reduce the risk of cancer and cardiovascular disease. For us, it's about healthier cows, a healthier community, and a healthier planet. It's the 100% difference!
