CIEE is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing peace through people-to-people intercultural exchange. Since 1947, CIEE has built bridges between different people, countries, and cultures through study abroad and international exchange programs, helping over 1.5 million young people develop skills for living in a globally interdependent and culturally diverse world.
Today, CIEE serves more than 50,000 participants annually through college and high school study abroad, global internship, BridgeUSA, and other international exchange programs. With programs in more than 45 cities across 30+ countries and as the largest U.S. Department of State BridgeUSA sponsor, CIEE expands access to life-changing international experiences that develop global perspectives, strengthen career readiness, and nurture friendships that transcend borders.

Since 1974, our educational portfolio has grown to include 140 countries important to national security, prosperity, and peace.
