KEXP is an international community of music lovers and music makers, and a nonprofit organization fostering relationship and community building through broadcast, online, and in-person music programming. Since our founding at the University of Washington in 1972, we’ve remained focused on championing music from all around the globe - spanning eras, styles and traditions. KEXP operates one of the most influential listener-supported music radio stations in the world, broadcasting at 90.3 KEXP-FM, Seattle and through our website and mobile apps. Each week on KEXP's YouTube channel, millions of viewers worldwide enjoy Live on KEXP sessions featuring exclusive in-studio performances and interviews from emerging and established artists. From a public facility at Seattle Center, KEXP produces hundreds of live performances and music events each year, many of which are open to public audiences at no charge. Our playlist is broad and comprised of international, national, and local artists ranging from brand new on the scene to legendary in stature. How We Do It: WXPN is a member-supported radio station and nationally-recognized leader in Triple A (Adult Album Alternative) music programming. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) operation serving the Delaware Valley and Central PA areas. While our broadcast license is held by the Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania, we are financially independent and rely solely on the support of individuals who believe in our mission. We focus exclusively on delivering the needs to the community of music fans and artists we serve. WXPN serves the greater Philadelphia area at 88.5 FM, the Lehigh Valley at 104.9, Worton/Baltimore at 90.5 FM, Lancaster/Lebanon at 88.7 FM, Harrisburg at 99.7 FM, and the world via online streaming at XPN.org.
