For over 30 years, Serenity House has consistently and successfully met the increasing demands for substance abuse treatment through our full continuum of care that includes Adult and Adolescent Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient services, DUI, as well as our Halfway Houses and Recovery Homes. Our Halfway House services are unique in DuPage County as we remain the only facility of its kind offering a 90-day Extended Residential Treatment program specific to assisting individuals recovering from substance abuse. Our programs provide a holistic approach that focuses on integrating men and women back into their surroundings as self-sufficient, productive members of their communities while improving the quality of life for their families. Serenity House began as a four-bed cottage in 1985. Today, we host a current capacity of 107 beds in our men and women’s residential programs and over 200 individuals in our outpatient programs. Through the years, treatment has developed into a broad range of interventions and now includes individual counseling, group counseling, family support including family nights, and sober fun activities.

Ocean Breeze Lodge offers fully furnished, 1- and 2-bedroom apartments conveniently located within walking distance to downtown Fort Bragg and located within 1.5 miles of the Mendocino Coast Hospital, Sherwood Oaks Health Center, Fort Bragg Police Department, City Offices and Noyo Harbor. Commuting is not a concern! We are also within walking distance of many fine restaurants, laundromats and other personal conveniences. Owner operated, The Ocean Breeze Lodge apartments have a ambiance that feels like home. Tastefully decorated, each apartment is equipped with free local phone service, cable TV/HBO. In addition to being COMPLETELY furnished and supplied with pots , pans, dishes, etc., weekly housekeeping services are included. We have truly created your "Home Away From Home"! Free private parking and utilities paid will make you feel like you are living with Mom! We have recreated our hotel to suit the needs of the mobile professional who has temporary housing issues to include a 12:00 PM check-out time. Our apartments are rented for a minimum of one month.
