The Centro Rodoferroviário Português (CRP) is a leading technical association in Portugal dedicated to advancing road and rail transport through knowledge-sharing, technical expertise, and strategic dialogue. Founded in 1998 by 31 public and private organisations, CRP aims to enhance the understanding of transport's vital role in economic development, environmental sustainability, and social inclusion.
With over 25 years of experience, CRP has become a central forum bringing together transport operators, construction companies, consultants, equipment providers, public authorities, academia, and individual experts. Our mission is to drive innovation, improve infrastructure resilience, promote safety standards, and actively participate in shaping transport policies.
CRP organises conferences, technical seminars, professional training, and industry events, facilitating collaboration and networking among professionals. Notable activities include the Portuguese Road & Rail Transport Congresses, and numerous specialised training programmes.
Committed to representing our members' interests, we actively engage in technical committees and policy dialogues at both national and international levels. By fostering continuous improvement and sustainability in the transport sector, CRP contributes directly to the quality of life and mobility for society as a whole.
