Consultants for Corporate Benefits, Inc. (CCBI) is an Employee Benefits and Human Resources Management consulting firm headquartered in Newark, New Jersey. CCBI was founded in 1995 by Hope Americo Tinsley, whose prior experience included the management of major accounts for Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Jersey and New York Life/Sanus. The original mission of CCBI was to focus on employee benefits, offering clients a level of information and service not provided by the broker community. Today, CCBI directs health, dental, and prescription drug premiums for 150,000 employee lives nationwide. Impressed with CCBI's professionalism and service, clients soon began asking for assistance with additional benefits, legal compliance, and other personnel issues. In response, CCBI developed its capabilities in human resources management. The offerings of CCBI have now evolved into three interrelated practices: Benefits Management, Employee Health & Advocacy, and HR Support services. This year, CCBI will further expand its offerings in the areas of retirement plans, property and casualty insurance, health savings accounts (HSAs), and HR services for foreign-owned companies in the United States.
