CBFO Softball Information

Since 1992, the Cedar Bluff Farragut Optimist has managed a Fast Pitch Softball Program for girls age 4-19. CBFO Girls Softball has been dedicated to implanting in the girls of our community the ideals of good sportsmanship, loyalty, courage, and reverence. The program has grown from 227 players in 2000 to over 525 players in 2019. We welcome anywhere from 500 to over 1,200 people at the park on scheduled game dates. It is a premier Girls Softball program. CBFO Softball is a recreational program open to all girls between the ages of 4 and 19 regardless of ability. We have coaches who are committed to teaching the game and helping girls develop life skills that will help them play a game most of their lives. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing a new player who has worked hard to get her first hit, or catch her first fly ball, and do it in front of a large crowd of people. The smile on her face is truly priceless. In addition to teaching the game of softball, we are committed to teaching lessons about life as well. We teach being part of a team and a team player, making sacrifices for the team, learning how to lose and being humble winners, and always doing your best. We hope these lessons will enable our girls to prepare for the life that is in front of them and pass it on to their children as well. CBFO believes if we stay committed to our mission statement, generations to come will benefit and our community will be a better place.
