Swing Remix is a monthly social dance based in New York City that presents world class swing bands, top notch deejays, LIVE dance performances, all for the enjoyment of the community. Our dance parties first began at a night club called SOL on the Lower West Side. Following that were programs at dance studios Basic Ballroom and Manhattan Ballroom until we began regular programs at our premier venue the Marlene Meyerson JCC on the Upper West Side. Today we also feature pre-dance workshops and offer demos and showcases during our prime time band break. There are also fashion vendors that display vintage collectables for both viewing and sale. The vision and concept in our name is really about continuing to forge new ground for the development and longevity of swing. Most of our tunes will be the stuff you all love to hear, and along side we will experiment a bit with the music as we see fit at these fantastic venues. Whether you come for the dancing, for the music, or for the visual effects, you're bound to enjoy. Our events are held at various spectacular locations in and around Manhattan and our main venue and current home is the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan at 334 Amsterdam Avenue.

The Lindy Hop, Balboa, Blues, and Jazz Dance Camp and New Year's Party - Dec 26, 2021 to Jan 1, 2022 Lindy Focus is an all-encompassing celebration of Swing, featuring many of the world's best dance instructors and the best live music on the planet. Each year we bring you five nights of authentic big band music unparalleled in modern history, with classes and social dancing that can't be beat. Lindy Focus brings the music to life in a way that is both innovative and deeply appreciative of the history. Each show pays tribute to a great bandleader of the era. At the 2018 event, we featured an entire concert as played by: The Jimmie Lunceford Orchestra, The Benny Goodman Orchestra, The Lionel Hampton Orchestra, The Chick Webb Orchestra (originally featuring Ella Fitzgerald), as well as the small groups of Benny Goodman, Lionel Hampton, and more.
