The Wholesale and Retail Sector Education and Training Authority (www.wrseta.org.za) is a public entity which was established to address skills development within the Wholesale and Retail sector through the implementation of learnerships, disbursement of grants and monitoring of education and training. The W&RSETA aims to increase the level of investment in education and training in the sector and to improve the return on that investment. Our mission is to contribute to the socioeconomic development and growth of the country by enabling education and training of the highest quality in the wholesale and retail sector, to the benefit of employers, employees and learners respectively.

We are a sector education and training authority mandated to facilitate skills development and training in the transport sector. We were enacted under the Skills Act and are currently housed under the Department of Higher Education and Training
