Cathexis is a Houston TX based single member family office. We have no boards or committees; our organizational structure and permanent capital base provides significant advantages, including the ability to move quickly, strong alignment with management teams, a long-term investment horizon, and flexibility with transaction structures. Cathexis is actively engaged in exploration activities and investment in the greater United States Gulf of Mexico region, both onshore and offshore. In addition, Cathexis is actively pursuing exploration investment opportunities overseas.
