Catalyst Community Partners revitalize distressed Twin Cities neighborhoods by redeveloping vacant commercial property and creating sustainable local enterprises that increase safety and livability, meet community needs and provide neighborhood jobs. Catalyst is currently dedicated to revitalizing West Broadway Avenue in North Minneapolis. Catalyst engages human and financial investment in our revitalization efforts. Through our “Better. Together.” campaign, Catalyst mobilizes neighbors, community groups, youth, church members, corporate volunteers, and local entrepreneurs to collaborate on community development projects. Through this hands-on engagement approach, Catalyst builds more than buildings and neighborhood businesses; we create new relationships, social capital and community ownership. Catalyst stimulates the market by delivering both social and financial return on our investments. We use best practices and private-sector know-how to achieve highly efficient, sustainable outcomes. We build grassroots relationships and partnerships to ensure that community members are the primary beneficiaries of new investments in their neighborhoods.
