Catalyst BioVentures, LLC exists to use business as a means to bring life changing products, services and training to emerging markets around the world, with the express intent to better the lives of the people living in those markets. We specifically focus on energy and health ventures and the delivery of life-enhancing products, services and training. We believe that by understanding the needs of our target markets and the partners we work with within those markets, we can undertake ventures that are sustainable and impact the lives of local citizens, thereby establishing our businesses as important contributors to the well-being of the people and nations we seek to serve. Our first major project is Global BioDiagnostics Corp. (GBD). In partnership with global health leaders, GBD is commercializing a breakthrough tuberculosis diagnostic technology that is deliberately designed to be low-cost, easy-to-use and cost-effective, making it ideally suited to be useful in the markets of the world that are TB endemic, which are typically also highly resource constrained.
