Cat Care Society is a private, non-profit cat shelter founded in 1981 that was established in order to improve the quality of life of cats in need in the Denver metro area. Our unique and free-roaming approach views all cats as worthy, regardless of their age or abilities. Our mission is to be a safe and enriching place for all cats on their journey to a loving home. We do this by providing compassionate care, shelter, adoption services and community engagement. We Are: Welcoming of all cats. None are too old or ill to be valued, loved and treated with dignity. We are compassionate of the cats in our care and the people whose lives we touch. Committed to excellence in operations, ensuring the highest quality of care for cats and delivering trusted service for people who love cats. Unique in our approach, offering free-roaming and enriching spaces for cats, embracing cats that need specialized support, and providing superior medical care. PetRescue is a national animal welfare charity with a vision of a future where every pet is safe, respected and loved. By using technology to drive social change and building strong industry relationships with some of Australia’s biggest brands, every month we’re able to help save the lives of thousands of rescue pets. We deliver our free pet search and adoption services to thousands of Australians visiting the PetRescue website every day in search of a new family member. And through our innovative programs and corporate partnerships, we bring millions of dollars worth of goods and services to hundreds of grassroots community rescue organisations Australia wide.

We’re proudly cat obsessed; we advocate for the rights of cats and are passionate about being the voice for cats across Victoria. We passionately believe that cats are amazing companion animals and that every cat should have the opportunity for a loving, safe and healthy home. For over 75 years, we have provided a safe haven to Victorian cats in need and helped provide abandoned and vulnerable cats with their happily furever after through our adoption shelter. We have provided expert, compassionate care to owned cats through our Cat only Veterinary Clinic and we have and continue to work with our community to raise the profile of cats as companion animals and promote responsible cat ownership. We do this as a not-for-profit animal welfare organisation that is entirely reliant on the kindness of donations and legacies from individuals who share our passion for animal welfare and desire to see every cat in a loving, safe and healthy home.
