Cat Depot Information

Cat Depot is Sarasota’s only rescue, adoption, and education center dedicated exclusively to saving cats and kittens. We specialize in care and programs to meet cats’ unique needs. Our mission is focused: Save lives. Find loving homes. Improve the destiny of homeless cats. Every year, homeless and abandoned cats are given a second chance at Cat Depot through urgent rescue, compassionate veterinary care, and loving adoptions. Each year, we: Rescue and rehome 1,300 cats and kittens; Treat 2,700 feline patients through our Cat Care Clinic; Provide vital spay/neuter services and community cat support; Keep hundreds of families together through our food bank and safety net programs; Build a more informed and compassionate community for cats through humane education and outreach.
