Castello Monte Vibiano was established in 1898 by Antonio Sereni. Today, his great-grandson, Lorenzo Fasola Bologna, continues the family heritage of celebrated winemaking, olive oil production, and preservation of the lands of the estate. The company is the first farm in the world to achieve Zero C02 emissions without using carbon offsets (DNV UNI ISO 14064). It was also the first winery in Italy to be assessed from V.I.V.A.
