Started in 1968 Castelan is one of the longest running facilities for pet boarding in Brisbane Southside with the current owner operators Helen and Lance Young having lived on premises since 1984. Boarding Pets has always been more than a just livelihood for Helen and Lance. As the long-term pet owners and animal lovers they have been actively involved in related industries for over 42 years such as breeding, obedience training and shows. The pet boarding kennels allows dogs have access to both indoor and outdoor areas during the day to ensure plenty of fun and exercise while they are limited to their sheltered indoor sleeping area for the night. There are even large individual kennels to allow all the family pets to board together and enjoy their holiday with their usual companion's. Additional outdoor grassed areas are also available for those larger dogs who require a little extra exercise. Our air conditioned cattery is well distanced from the dog kennels to avoid any interspecies disputes and ensuring the most relaxing stay possible. The fully separate cattery has individual runs that extend out to the lovely view at the back of the property and contain their own elevated private sleeping compartments. The cattery runs can even hold two family cats to help them settle into their new surrounds. The facilities at Castelan can even boast a record greater than most households with not a single escapee in 30 years of providing the best pet boardingin Brisbane Southside. Castelan understands that quality food, served hygienically is vital for healthy balanced diets which leads to happy pets during their stay.
