Caspian Airlines (Persian: هواپیمایی کاسپین) is an airline headquartered in Tehran, Iran. Established in 1993, it operates services between Tehran and other major cities in Iran and international flights to Ukraine, Armenia, Turkey, United Arab Emirate, Syria, and Iraq. Its main base is Mehrabad International Airport, Tehran. From Jan 2010 Caspian Airlines no longer operates Tupolev aircraft Tu-154m and Now it operates Boeing 737-400 and MD-80 series aircraft. In Jan 2011 Caspian Airlines signed a joint-venture agreement with Ararat Engineering Company for the maintenance of the MD-82 and with UM airlines for MD-83. In March 2013 Caspian Airlines withdraw maintenance agreement because starting under their own maintenance service program.
