Carytown Cupcakes Information

Carytown Cupcakes opened in October of 2009 and is a locally owned business that is owned and operated by Dawn Schick. It specializes in creatively-inspired cupcakes made with all-natural ingredients. Each day, Dawn's talented team, known as Team Buttercream, whips up flavors developed around themes. Their imagination knows no bounds. Some of their favorite cupcake menu themes so far are Italian Desserts, Wine Country, and Berry Pies. In July of 2014, Carytown Cupcakes starting serving local products on tap, including craft beers by Hardywood Park Craft Brewery and ciders by Blue Bee Cider. They also offer a local wine selection from First Colony Winery in Charlottesville, VA. They even offer pairing recommendations for their cupcakes! Carytown Cupcakes is located at at 3111 W Cary Street right across the street from Can Can in the heart of Carytown. The outside of our building is bright pink, Carytown Cupcakesso you can't miss us! Once you step inside, you'll notice immediately that our selection of flavors have grown to 16+ flavors per day, with at least 2 vegan and 2 gluten-free offerings daily. Our space offers more seating, and you can even dine at our cupcake bar! We've built a 12 viewing window separating the kitchen from the shop that allows you to can watch all of our cupcakes being made and decorated!
