She began her career in documentary television three decades ago, an experience that enhanced her ability to create engaging imagery. Drawing upon her years of experience, creativity, extensive technical skills and eye for composition, her photographs convey the vitality of each design, often leading to awards and editorial features for her clients. Caryn is a consummate professional who takes pride in delivering high quality photography for large and small projects on time and on budget. "My goal is to focus on the story my clients want to tell by capturing the space in a compelling way that highlighting its unique characteristics, while honoring the creator's concept and vision." Caryn is also an accomplished writer and an avid world traveler to over 50 countries. Her images and articles have appeared in over 60 publications including the New York Times, Conde Nast Traveler , Lonely Planet , Travel + Leisure , Old House Journal , Connecticut Cottages & Gardens , Fine Art Connoisseur,Town & Country, New England Home , among others. She has produced two commissioned photography books, "A Connecticut Christmas" (Globe Pequot Press, 224 Pages, 2017) and Connecticut Waters (Globe Pequot Press, 232 Pages, 2021), and has been interviewed in The New York Times, on NPR's All Things Considered, Better Connecticut with Scot Haney, CT LIVE! and on WNTH with Ann Nyberg. She is currently working on a third book about gardens due out 2023.
