Established in 1932, Weetabix Ltd. is the leading British breakfast cereal manufacturer, offering a wide range of top-selling brands including Weetabix, Barbara’s and Alpen. Today, Weetabix is one of the world's largest cereal companies supplying private label cereals as well as branded products and ingredients. Our US Private Label program began in 1983 and has grown to 35 standard Ready-To-Eat products from our manufacturing facilities. As part of the Weetabix family since 1985, Barbara's Bakery provides great tasting Non-GMO and organic products. Utilizing these Branded attributes we have developed a full line of Organic and Non GMO Private Brands offerings. In 2012, The Weetabix Food Company (WFC) and Lion Capital announced the sale of a majority ownership of WFC to Bright Foods, one of China's leading food groups. At Weetabix, we help people live healthy lives by offering great tasting, simple, wholesome, nutritious cereal and snack foods in North America. Weetabix North America is comprised of our Corporate Headquarters in Marlborough, Massachusetts, USA and our two manufacturing facilities in Clinton, Massachusetts, USA and Cobourg, Ontario, Canada. Within our Burton’s group, we have 6 bakery sites across the UK, located in Blackpool, Livingston, Edinburgh, Dorset, Isle of Arran and Llantarnam, with our head office in St Albans. In total we employ circa 2,100 people around across our locations. Burton’s Biscuits is owned by Ferrero and we are proud to be part of such a fantastic and successful business.
