Carpet Binders Information

Carpet Binders is a business that focuses on edging carpets, regardless of size, either by turning them into practical scatter mats or large-area rugs. Carpetbinders offers various edging finishes, from the practical woollen overlocking to the on-trend designer tapes. With a dedicated workroom, they can handle carpet pieces up to 4m by 10m in size. We also ensure that customers can access our carpet binding service by providing a pick-up and delivery service for those who cannot drive to the workshop or need more space in their cars. Carpet binders offer a 48-hour service around most binding assignments. We also offer a specialist service of made-to-measure motorhome and caravan loose-lay fitted mats. Carpet binders has invested in a portable tape-binding machine, allowing team members to work offsite. This service is ideal for commercial entities such as hotels or rest homes where tape edging is required for long hallways, etc, as a preferred finish. Carpet binders has a positive, can-do attitude and good customer service experience. We think of ourselves as problem solvers. We are agile enough to have the ability to work in bespoke fields and complex binding assignments or on bulk orders for mass distribution. We are proud to say that our workplace environment is an inclusive and comfortable place to work, regardless of age, background, or disability. Regarding environmental and sustainable aspects, plastic materials are recycled whenever the team can. Carpet Binders supports environmental group initiatives that help native wildlife, such as the KERA CARES group in Kaiapoi. We also ardently support the New Zealand sheep wool industry and advocate for all things wool where appropriate.
