The CRC is composed of 31 affiliated Local Unions of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America across Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, and Yukon. In total, we represent over 50,000 women and men working in a wide range of skilled trades, including carpentry, drywall, pile driving, formwork, scaffolding, framing, trim, siding, millwork, resilient flooring, welding, underwater construction, and many more! In addition, our union represents many industrial workers and thousands of highly skilled healthcare workers. With pride in our more than 140-year history, we strive for job fairness and family-sustaining wages, benefits, and pensions. We lead the way in training, educating, and representing the next generation of skilled construction professionals. Our mission is to stand strong with our members and business partners to help them achieve success. UBC education and training advances leadership, skill, quality, productivity, safety, and attitude with the goal of creating a constructive culture within the construction industry and providing a competitive workforce for our contractors and owners. In addition to creating this culture within our membership, our core values are reflected in our work with local partners to help build our communities.
