The Carolinian Hop Yard constitutes part of our farm located in Norfolk county. We are currently growing ten kinds of hops using non-conventional agricultural methods. Although not certified organic, we follow a pesticide-free, non commercial fertilization and amendment programme. We believe our sandy soils and low ecological impact approach will impart a unique local quality to our hops and the resulting craft beers that use our harvests. Our varietals currently include: Nugget, Chinook, Sterling, Willamette, Cascade, Centennial, Columbus, Crystal, Galena, and Magnum.
