Carneo (Carneo Asset Managers) is a modern multi-boutique asset management group with a long heritage associated with the Carnegie group of companies. Carneo was formed in 2016 by the inclusion under the Carneo umbrella of C Worldwide and Carnegie Fonder. Carneo has since expanded in alternative assets, and is now the largest independent asset management group based in the Nordic region with over €22 billion in assets under management. Carneo's majority owner is Altor Fund III. Altor is a family of private equity funds focused on investing in and developing medium sized companies with a Nordic origin. Altor’s aim is to create enduring values and make a real difference as a valuable partner for owners and managers in building world class companies.
