CARLMONT PARENTS NURSERY SCHOOL Information

We are a parent participation, co-operative, play-based developmental preschool for children ages 2 to 5 years. Located in Belmont, and founded in 1961, we are a community of children, parents and teachers working together with the common goal of stronger, healthier families. We believe that the well being of children, their senses of self, their values and their perspectives on the world are all greatly shaped by those charged with their care. NOW ENROLLING for the Fall 2017 School year. Visit us during our April Open House or email our team to find a time to visit our school and apply (membership@carlmontparents.org). COMING UP: Open House Monday April 3rd 10am-12pm. Come visit our beautiful school, meet staff and talk to current CPNS families. NEW FOR FALL 2017: Evening parent education classes will only ONCE per month (down from twice per month). Ask us about why parent education is important to our school and how it can help your family. Please keep the following in mind if you are considering our school: We are a play-based, child-directed preschool We are a co-op preschool where parents participate in class on a weekly basis We are a Parent Education school, with ONE parent class per month We have a nursery available for younger siblings on a parent's co-op day We run on a traditional school year calendar (Sept-May) although we enroll new students through January, space permitting Children do not need to be potty trained to attend CPNS We are a close community of families who enjoy learning, growing and having fun together!
