Goodwood is England’s greatest sporting estate. Seat of the Dukes of Richmond for over three centuries, the family has always welcomed their friends and guests to share in their love of sport. Horseracing, motor racing, golf, flying, shooting and cricket have all been introduced by enthusiastic family members since the first Duke came to Goodwood in 1697. Within its 12,000 acres, Goodwood is home to one of the largest lowland organic farms in England, a famous Battle of Britain airfield, a celebrated racecourse, a historic motor circuit, two golf courses and one of the oldest cricket grounds in the country, all centred around Goodwood House with its magnificent Regency interiors. The Goodwood Estate has evolved over the past 20 years to meet the challenges of the 21st century, reviving the motor racing events, investing in the horseracing and historic Downland golf course, creating an organic farm, buying back the Goodwood Hotel, and restoring Goodwood House to its former Regency glory. With the creation of the Festival of Speed and the Goodwood Revival, as well as Glorious Goodwood, it is now one of the great centres of sport and entertainment in the world. There’s nothing like a great family day out at Beaulieu! Beaulieu is a great family day out with more than 250 vehicles on display in the National Motor Museum, ranging from some of the world’s most iconic Land Speed Record breakers to motoring oddities such as a giant orange on wheels! The world-famous collection tells the story of motoring from its origins to the present day. Today, Beaulieu is one of the leading visitor attractions in the UK, a member of Visit England, Tourism South East, Hampshire Top Attractions, Treasure Houses of England and the Historic Houses Association. Admission to Beaulieu includes entrance to the whole of the attraction including the National Motor Museum, new attraction We Had One of Those, On Screen Cars, the ancestral Montagu family home of Palace House and the historic remains of the 13th century Beaulieu Abbey and grounds. Beaulieu Enterprises Ltd is also the operational custodian of Beaulieu’s sister attraction Buckler’s Hard and Beaulieu River. The Beaulieu River on which Buckler’s Hard sits, is now a natural and sheltered yacht haven offering permanent and short term berths and moorings in its marina. About 250 people work full or part time on the Beaulieu Estate, in both permanent and seasonal positions. Beaulieu is a diverse workplace and has many varied job opportunities across the estate; from river maintenance to driving the monorail, and office duties to property upkeep.
