OAC is an agency that operates at arm's length from the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Gaming. The OAC's grants and services to professional, Ontario-based artists and arts organizations support arts education, Indigenous arts, community arts, crafts, dance, Francophone arts, literature, media arts, multidisciplinary arts, music, theatre, touring, and visual arts. The OAC is directed by 12 volunteer board (council) members who come from communities throughout the province. They are appointed by the Government of Ontario for a three-year term. The OAC's board is responsible for setting OAC's policies and oversees the organization's operation. --- Le CAO est un organisme qui fonctionne de manière indépendante et qui relève du Ministère du Tourisme, de la Culture et des Jeux. Par ses subventions et services, il appuie les artistes professionnels et les organismes artistiques établis en Ontario dans les domaines de l'éducation artistique, des arts autochtones, des arts communautaires, des métiers d'art, de la danse, des arts francophones, de la littérature, des arts médiatiques, des arts multidisciplinaires, de la musique, du théâtre, des tournées et des arts visuels. Le CAO est dirigé par un conseil d'administration composé de 12 membres bénévoles, provenant de différentes régions de la province, nommés par le gouvernement de l'Ontario pour un mandat de trois ans. Le conseil d'administration du CAO est chargé d'établir les politiques de l'organisme et d'en surveiller le fonctionnement.

We invest and allocate municipal funding for the arts provided by The City of Calgary and leverage these funds to provide additional resources to the arts sector. Our programs support hundreds of arts organizations, individual artists, artist collectives and ad hoc groups in Calgary. Calgary Arts Development strives to increase and use our resources wisely, foster collaborative relationships and make the arts integral to the lives of Calgarians. We are a connector, facilitator, collaborator, champion, supporter, amplifier, investor, catalyst and opportunity-maker.

The Edmonton Arts Council is a not-for-profit organization that supports and promotes the arts community in Edmonton. The EAC works to increase the profile and involvement of arts and culture in all aspects of our community life through activities that: -Invest in Edmonton festivals, arts organizations and individual artists through municipal, corporate and private funding. -Represent Edmonton’s arts community to government and other agencies and provide expert advice on issues that affect the arts. -Build partnerships and initiate projects that strengthen our community. -Create awareness of the quality, variety and value of artistic work produced in Edmonton
