CareXc Information

CareXc, an AARP technology innovation champion, was inspired by the challenges founder Ann Ting encountered as she worked to ensure that her parents were able to age gracefully at home. Ann experienced firsthand the difficulties of caregiving as she balanced work and family priorities and costs. Most of all, she experienced the overwhelming complexity of finding the best information for making critical decisions under tremendous time pressure. The intensity of this experience inspired Ann to found CareXc to improve the lives of other family caregivers and their senior family members. CareXc brings together the Ann’s experience gained as her previous leadership roles in healthcare and technology companies with knowledge she gained as a family caregiver. CareXc is dedicated to improving the daily quality of life for older adults and their caregivers through technologies which enrich, coordinate, and transform their chaotic daily activities into streamlined caregiver centered network resources. Using this network, caregivers and their loved ones can create their own online community to: • exchange information and in improving their loved one’s physical health and social interaction • optimize time and money needed in caregiving as well as improving the family caregiver’s own health.
