CareersJS is a recruitment brand run by an NPM-contributor and long-term JavaScript developer. Clients and candidates work with me because: I'm not really a recruiter. No hard sales pitches, no sending candidates Java jobs because I don't understand the difference, and no submitting PHP developers who used jQuery once for React Native role. You'll hear from me -- via email -- when I have something interesting to say, and otherwise I won't bother you. I've been in most roles a developer can be in ... intern, architect, contractor, freelancer, and CTO managing a team of 40. I will understand your concerns and desires in both the jobs you're looking to apply for, and jobs you're looking to fill. I aim to make about 25 placements a year, and aim for both the candidate and client to be ecstatic at the result. I don't work with clients I wouldn't want to program for, and I don't work with candidates I wouldn't want to program next to. I've been working as a technical recruiter for almost 5 years, and get a lot of word-of-mouth referrals from happy candidates and clients. Over 50% of the candidates I place weren't really looking for a new job until I showed them something awesome they should apply for.
