Achievement First is a growing network of non-profit, high-performing, college-preparatory, K to 12 public charter schools in Connecticut, New York and Rhode Island. The mission of Achievement First is to deliver on the promise of equal educational opportunity for all of America's children. We believe that all children, regardless of race or economic status, can succeed if they have access to a great education. Achievement First schools provide all of our students with the academic and character skills they need to graduate from top colleges, to succeed in a competitive world and to serve as the next generation of leaders in our communities.

IDEA Public Schools believes that each child can go to college. Since 2000, IDEA Public Schools has grown from a small school with 150 students to a network of tuition-free, K-12 public charter schools in the United States. Currently, the network serves nearly 88,000 college-bound students in 145 schools across Texas and its affiliates. IDEA has been recognized in national rankings for The Washington Post, The U.S. Department of Education’s list of Blue Ribbon Schools, and U.S. News & World Report’s Top High Schools lists. In the last 18 years, IDEA has sent nearly 100% of its graduates to college and remains on track to uphold that legacy.

Building a Generation: City Schools’ Blueprint for Success lays out City Schools’ vision for unlocking every student’s potential. Based on research and conversations with hundreds of stakeholders, the blueprint focuses on three key areas that go hand-in-hand to support students’ toward graduation and postsecondary success: literacy, student wholeness, and staff leadership.
