Steve Dinan founded DINAN in 1979. DINAN is well established as North America’s premier BMW tuner. DINAN develops, manufactures, and markets a comprehensive line of high-performance products and systems, distributed through a nationwide network of Authorized DINAN BMW Performance Centers that includes select BMW Dealerships and Independent BMW Service/High-Performance facilities. Steve Dinan sold DINAN in 2013 and has started a new company, CarBahn Autoworks, to develop high-performance products for BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, and Audi. CarBahn Autoworks in a very short time has already proven itself as the go to tuning company for customers around North America and has already established a nationwide dealership network. Furthermore, CarBahn Autoworks also participates in IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge under the name CarBahn Motorsports. The team has been participating as a championship contender since 2018 and has won the 2019 championship.
