Dolce Vita began as a dream drafted on a cocktail napkin.
Founded in 2001 on New York City’s Lower East Side, the brand’s name is an homage to our founders’ favorite bar from their days studying in Italy.
Since those days, we’ve stayed true to our roots in New York’s vibrant creative epicenter while broadening our horizons and always allowing our wildest dreams to dictate the next step.
Today, every Dolce Vita collection is designed for the fearless – the dreamers, the tastemakers, and the confident individuals who inspire us every day.

With limited resources and a speckling of English, owner/chef Ayse Aydemir had her first taste of the food industry selling “yufka” from her small rented apartment kitchen.
“Yufka” a labour intensive thin phyllo-like dough, and a key to the foundation of many appetizer dishes, became synonymous with Ayse. Baklava’s, boreks and dips soon followed suit.
Feeling constrained in her small kitchen and with a client base growing by the week, Ayse took the next big step and opened Anatolia Restaurant.
Established in 1999, Anatolia Restaurant has grown in popularity to become one of “Toronto’s Top Ten Restaurants” according to The Globe and Mail, as well as being regularly recommended by Toronto Life, featured on the Street Eats television show and CBC’s Living Toronto to mention a few.
Anatolia Restaurant offers it’s guests an authentic Turkish culinary experience, using fresh ingredients, traditional Turkish recipes, and blending it all with our world re-known hospitality.
For the ultimate Turkish experience, visit us on the first Friday of the month and enjoy our **Night Of Istanbul** featuring traditional Turkish Entertainment, Musicians, Belly Dancers, Fortune Tellers.
