Our Story - Capitol Steel has grown from a one man, welding operation working off the back of a truck to a highly specialized, structural steel fabricator for some of the largest and most demanding projects in the public infrastructure, commercial construction and heavy industrial sectors. At the age of 22, in 1998; Company founder, Jeff Ganczar hoisted a welding machine on the back of his truck and set out in search of jobs. He found enough to keep him busy doing repair welding on job sites and then small fabrication in his garage. His reputation for solutions and reliable work grew, and Capitol Steel was on its way to establishing itself as a source for the “heavy” complex and unique projects. Our Experience - Capitol Steel is proactive and problem solving – over time, the Company has developed specific expertise for large structural projects in civil infrastructure, commercial building and large industrial applications whether the site be “live or greenfield”.
