Ball Above All Sports was founded in 2002 in Australia by Australian-Lebanese entrepreneur and sports visionary Belal Abiad. Built on discipline, equality, and community, what began as a grassroots league evolved into a cross-continental basketball movement, expanding to UAE in 2013 and launching its Elite League division in 2014. Belal believed basketball was more than a game, it was a platform to build character, resilience, leadership, and cultural understanding. Today, that legacy continues with the same spirit, standards, and commitment to excellence. Ball Above All specializes in organizing structured basketball leagues, tournaments, and professional coaching programs for youth and adults aged 5 and above. We provide a friendly yet highly competitive multicultural environment, welcoming participants from over 150 nationalities. Our programs range from Beginner to Semi-Elite and Elite levels, ensuring every athlete has a platform to grow at their pace and ambition. Ball Above All Sports Academy delivers high-performance basketball coaching across all age groups and skill levels. Our coaching programs focus not only on technical development, including dribbling, shooting, passing, rebounding, and game intelligence, but also on leadership, confidence, and personal growth. Our coaching team includes FIBA-approved professionals, former professional players, and experienced basketball educators who evaluate, develop, and continuously refine each athlete’s pathway. For elite athletes, Ball Above All provides international gateways through partnerships connected to the NBA & NCAA (United States), NBL & ABA (Australia), LBL (Lebanon), and networks within the UAE Professional League.
