The CCAC promotes running and multisport activities in the Cape Cod area and is made up of a diverse group of athletes from age 8-85! The club organizes many major road races and events each year, from one milers to marathons. Proceeds from races are donated to charities, scholarships, and athletic programs in the local community. The club holds numerous fun runs, including the popular winter Grand Prix Series. Members meet weekly across the Cape to train, race and socialize! Many club members help conduct youth running programs, and coach track and cross-country at local high schools. CCAC is a registered USA Track and Field club, membership #007 as well as a registered USA Triathlon club. Club meetings take place September through May on the first Wednesday of each month at the Dennis Senior Center, discussions begin promptly at 7PM. Formed in 1976, the club now has over 350 members. The CCAC is governed by an unpaid Board of Directors and elected officers.
