Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) began in 2003 as a grassroots effort to provide care and comfort items to the hospital bedsides of wounded service members returning home from the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. More than two decades later, Wounded Warrior Project is the nation's leading veteran service organization, focused on the total well-being of post-9/11 veterans. Keeping the promise to care for our nation’s veterans requires the expertise and energy of a diverse and committed team. We build and lead programs that help warriors find purpose and thrive. We provide essential lifelines to families and caregivers. We advocate tirelessly with policymakers. We raise awareness to celebrate the service and honor the sacrifice of all veterans. The support of generous donors and corporate partners allows us to provide programs at no cost to warriors and their families. Talented WWP teammates across the country work together to ensure that no warrior is left behind. Together, we're changing the way our nation cares for veterans for generations to come.

At Guide Dogs for the Blind (GDB), we believe that everyone deserves to move through the world safely and confidently—to live the life they want to live. Our passionate community employs innovative practices to create life-changing partnerships. And, we advocate for the policy reforms that change how the world views blindness and disability. Because when everyone is empowered to participate, our communities are stronger. With world-class client services and a robust network of instructors, puppy raisers, donors, and volunteers, we prepare highly qualified guide dogs and K9 Buddy dogs, provide guide dog readiness skills, and offer youth programs to empower individuals who are blind or visually impaired. GDB not only improves mobility for our clients, we further inclusion. As the largest guide dog school in North America, more than 16,000 guide dog teams have graduated from GDB from across the U.S. and Canada since our founding in 1942. All of our services are provided free of charge, including personalized training and ongoing support, plus financial assistance for veterinary care, if needed. Our work is made possible by the generous support of our donors and volunteers; we receive no government funding. Guide Dogs for the Blind is an accredited member of the International Guide Dog Federation. Canine Companions is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, dedicated to providing service dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities. We also offer facility dogs to professionals working in healthcare, criminal justice and educational settings. All our dogs and follow-up services are provided free of charge to clients in the U.S. Canine Companions headquarters is located in Santa Rosa, California. We have seven training centers across the country, with locations in Northern California, Southern California, Florida, Ohio, Puget Sound (Seattle), New York and Texas.
