We are dedicated to providing excellent hand, wrist and upper limb therapy. Our hand therapy team in three Sydney practices has helped business people, professional sportspeople, mothers, seniors, musicians, sports & fitness enthusiasts (eg. gym, golf, tennis), tradespeople and children reduce pain and return them back to their usual activities. We offer a holistic approach to treatment creating an effective partnership between the surgeon / doctor and hand therapist (physiotherapist or occupational therapist) that is essential for optimal recovery. Our practice principal, Dr Rosemary Prosser (PhD), is recognised as one of the leading hand and wrist therapists in the world, speaking at numerous global conferences and co-authoring the textbook Rehabilitation of the Hand and Upper Limb used by Australian universities for hand therapy undergraduate study. Sydney Hand Therapy & Rehabilitation Centre is located in the heart of Sydney, in Macquarie St. Since 1986 we have been working closely with hand surgeons to provide high quality care for those with hand and upper limb pain and dysfunction. It is a busy suburban practice co-located with hand surgeons. We provide high quality care in a friendly atmosphere in the northern region of Sydney. Appointments are available Monday to Thursday 8am to 5 pm and Friday 8am to 2pm.
