CITC is the educational trade association for the Canadian travel industry. With a membership of 3000 +, CITC manages the national travel counsellor and travel manager certification programs leading to the CTC and CTM designations. In addition, CITC endorses travel programs across the county, approves and recommends industry training, publishes and sells travel textbooks to travel programs, and offers professional development opportunities to the travel industry through seminars, webinars, conferences and newsletters. In Ontario, CITC administers the TICO education standard exams on behalf of TICO. In British Columbia CITC administers the travel insurance Exam program and in Saskatchewan, CITC worlks with the General Insurance Council to offer the Saskatchewan Insurance Exam Study Manual .
