MANDATE OF THE ASSOCIATION The Canadian Association of Nephrology Nurses and Technologists/L'Association Canadienne des Infirmieres et Technologues en Nephrologie (CANNT/ACITN) is a not-for-profit organization incorporated under the Government of Canada founded to promote excellence in nephrology care. MISSION OF CANNT To provide leadership and promote the best nephrology care and practice through education, research, and communication. VISION OF CANNT CANNT as the keystone of excellence in nephrology nursing and technological care in Canada. BOARD OF DIRECTORS The overall direction of the affairs and property of the Association is vested in the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors consists of the President, President-Elect/Treasurer, Director of Communications, four Regional Vice-Presidents and one Vice President of Technologists for a total of nine members. THE CANNT JOURNAL The official publication of the Canadian Association of Nephrology Nurses and Technologists The CANNT Journal is a peer-reviewed publication recognized and listed in the International Nursing Index, MEDLINE, and the Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature. Published quarterly and regularly reaching 60 pages in length, the journal is an ambitious vehicle of information and education in the nephrology nursing and technology field. Approximately 1000 nurses and technologists throughout Canada. CANNT’s members’ areas of practice include all renal modalities and related therapies. CANNT members enjoy the following benefits: 1.
