Canada International Scientific Exchange Program (CISEPO) Information

CISEPO is dedicated to pursuing health equity through strengthening health systems worldwide, with a particular focus on regions impacted by conflict and disparities. By employing the 'Health as a Bridge to Peace' principle, a concept supported by the World Health Organization, we engage in collaborative initiatives that enhance medical education, advance implementation research, and catalyze sustainable health improvements with a rights-based approach.Our efforts are reinforced by our commitment to accessible community-based programming and accredited Continuing Professional Development (CPD) that upholds the values embedded in the Feminist International Assistance Policy (FIAP) and aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as set forth in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. We stand firmly with Global Affairs Canada's efforts in Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health, guided by the principles of the FIAP and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.We are open to requests to design and support the implementation of needs-specific health initiatives and tailored medical education programs that integrate best practices in localization and partnership, as we believe that the journey towards global health equity necessitates a profound understanding of, and respect for, diverse cultures.
