NYC is the national body for youth development in Singapore and the focal point of international youth affairs. NYC was set up by the Singapore Government on 1 November 1989 as the national co-ordinating body for youth affairs in Singapore and the focal point of international youth affairs. On 1 January 2015, NYC began its operations as an autonomous agency under the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) and housed two key institutions: Outward Bound Singapore (OBS) and Youth Corps Singapore. Together, the agency will drive youth development and broaden outreach to young Singaporeans and youth sector organisations. Mr Edwin Tong, Minister for Culture, Community and Youth, is the Chairperson of the 16th Council. The Council comprises members from diverse backgrounds such as the youth, media, arts, sports, corporate and government sectors.

The Singapore Red Cross is a homegrown humanitarian organisation dedicated to relieving human suffering, protecting lives and dignity and responding to emergencies. We serve the vulnerable through our blood donor programme, Home and Day Activity Centre for the Disabled, community befriending, medical chaperone and transport service, Meals with Love, and Community First Aid, and we build capacity and resilience through our training academy, and volunteer and youth development. Beyond our shores, we mobilise and translate contributions from the donor community to relief and recovery, rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts, with the aim of helping communities affected by disasters. Here are some ways to give and get involved with the Red Cross: Become an Employee: You can make a difference every day. The JUMP! Foundation is a non-profit organization that believes in inspiring, empowering, and engaging youth through collaborative and innovative transformational learning programs. JUMP! offers a series of leadership activities suited for students at international schools and universities, including in-school programs (J! Schools), online programs (J! Connected) and outdoor adventure trips (J! Experiences and J! Adventures). We facilitate participants to develop personal, community, inter-community and leadership skills. To help realize our vision for a world in which young people fulfill their true potential, JUMP! invests in an internal development fund (J!Impact).
