Campaign for AI Safety Information

Catastrophic risks from artificial intelligence are real and imminent, unless there is strong government regulation and a moratorium on gain-of-function research for AI. AI researchers have been warning about "x-risk" or "existential risk" for decades. Now more than ever, this concern is becoming to be shared by a majority of people. Private companies are in a mad race to develop smarter AI systems without sufficient safety measures. Governments need to step in and redirect research towards AI alignment (i.e. safety from rogue AI) and prevention of misuse, as well as correcting biases and ethical problems within existing AI systems.
